ONTARGET CLUB
What is OnTarget?
OnTarget is Archery GB’s club development tool which is a free service that we signed up to with the aim of developing our club for the benefit of our members, surrounding communities and archery as a sport.
By engaging fully with ontarget and the development pathway, our club can enable better retention of members, reduced rate of churn and a positive, exciting atmosphere generated from within the club that provides for an improved quality of experience for everyone involved. In short – the right activities, for the right people at the right time.

There are 4 different areas a club can specialise in. The first one is the initial and continuing part of the club development, this is the stage our club is working at, we are also working towards a community specialism.

Development, Performance, Young people and Community
Performance
A performance specialism is geared towards creating a club atmosphere designed to bring out the best in the archer wishing to compete for competition success.
Young People
The Young People specialism focuses the club towards the younger generation, where the club provides focused training sessions to bring out the best in our young archers. While keeping them engaged in a fun but safe environment.
Community
A community focused club (where we are aiming to be) actively tries to engage with the local community to offer a sport for all ages and abilities in a relaxed friendly environment. While providing regular weekly shoots and opportunities for new members to try archery
